Is Ruin Roleplay a public or whitelisted server?
Ruin Roleplay is a Serious RP Whitelisted Server. This means we usually require an application and interview process to ensure high-quality roleplay. However, we are currently running a special promotion: Whitelist is completely FREE and open until the New Year. This is the perfect time to join the city and establish your character without waiting for approval.
If I join now for free, will I lose my access next year?
No. Any player who joins and remains active during this promotional period will be grandfathered in. You will permanently retain your Whitelisted status even after we return to our standard application process in the New Year.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. Make an account on our Website. Join our Discord server, read the server legislation (Rules), and connect via the IP address provided in the #connect channel. Since the whitelist is currently open, you can fly in immediately.
Is the server optimized for players in Pakistan and India?
Yes. We understand the frustration of high latency. Ruin Roleplay is hosted on high-performance networks with optimized routing for South Asia. Players from Pakistan (PTCL/Fiber) and India (Jio/Airtel/Fiber) typically experience low latency and smooth synchronization (no "desync" or "head-pop" issues).
Do I need a VPN to connect?
VPN is generally not required. Our server is accessible directly through standard ISPs. However, if your specific internet provider has strict routing restrictions, a gaming VPN may help stabilize your connection, though it is rarely necessary.
How strict are the cops?
Our Police force is trained to be fair but tough. If you do the crime, be ready to do the time. However, we have rules against "Cop Baiting" please do not annoy police just to get a reaction.
What language is spoken in the city?
We pride ourselves on being a culturally diverse Hybrid Server.

What is the policy regarding toxicity and abusive language?
Ruin Roleplay maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding OOC (Out of Character) toxicity.
- In-Character (IC): Aggressive roleplay and "gangster" language are allowed if it fits the story.
- Out-of-Character (OOC): Personal attacks, family-oriented abuse (Ma-Behen slurs used maliciously), and hate speech result in an immediate ban. We are a community here to build stories, not to abuse one another.

Is Ruin Roleplay "Pay-to-Win"?
Absolutely not. We believe in a fair, merit-based economy. While we offer donation packages to support server costs (such as cosmetic imports or priority queue), in-game money, power, and territory must be earned. You cannot buy an unfair advantage over other players.
Can I import custom vehicles?
Yes. We feature a curated list of imported vehicles, including popular regional favorites (Toyota Fortuner, Honda Civic Reborn, Corolla Grande, etc.) alongside luxury supercars. These can be acquired through the in-game dealerships using city currency or via our supporter store.
How does the server handle new players?
We are a "Newbie Friendly" serious server. If you are new to FiveM, our community and staff are happy to guide you. However, we expect you to read the rules regarding Fear RP (valuing your life) and Powergaming (doing unrealistic things) before entering the city.
Can I register my own Gang or Mafia?
Yes, we are looking for established groups to stake their claim in the city. If you have a team of active players, you can go to registration page on our website to apply for an Official department status.
