🚫 Section 1: General Assassination Restrictions

The “No RDM” Clause.

1.1. The Prohibition

• General Rule: You CANNOT directly assassinate (shoot without initiation/warning) a standard player, police officer, or rival gang member just because you have a contract.
• Standard Engagement: You must always follow standard Server ROE (Rules of Engagement). You must initiate verbal roleplay (“Hands up!” or “This is a robbery!”) before firing.
• Reasoning: Killing someone instantly without giving them a chance to speak is RDM (Random Death Match) and is bannable.

1.2. The Exception (CK Authorization)

• Permadeath: If you want to permanently kill a regular player (Character Kill/CK), you must open a Staff Ticket and get approval before the hit.
• Consent: Usually, the victim must agree to the CK (unless they signed a “Blood Oath” in a gang).

🏛️ Section 2: The Mayoral Assassination Protocol

The “Tyrant” Clause. The Mayor is the only player who can be hunted.

The Mayor (and Deputy Mayor) are Public Figures. By taking the office, they accept the risk of assassination. However, you cannot just shoot them in the street. You must follow the “Ultimatum Protocol.”

2.1. The 24-Hour Ultimatum Rule

You are ALLOWED to assassinate the Mayor, but you must give them a chance to survive.

• Step 1: The Warning: The assassin or organization must send a clear, documented threat to the Mayor minimum 24 Hours (Real Time) before the attempt.
• Step 2: The Demand: The warning must include a demand.
  • Example: “Resign from office by Friday at 8 PM, or we will kill you.”
  • Example: “Release our Gang Leader from prison within 24 hours, or you die.”
• Step 3: The Method: The warning must be sent via a Roleplay Avenue:
  • An anonymous letter delivered to City Hall.
  • A public video released on Weazel News (“The Terrorist Manifesto”).
  • A Dark Web email sent to the Mayor’s office.

2.2. The Manhunt (After the 24 Hours)

If the 24 hours pass and the Mayor has not met the demands:

• Open Season: The Mayor is now a valid target.
• No Initiation Required: The Assassin does NOT need to speak before shooting. The 24-hour warning was the initiation.
• Sniper Authorized: You may use a sniper rifle to assassinate the Mayor from a distance.
• Car Bombs: Authorized.

2.3. Mayor’s Defense

• Once the warning is received, the Mayor has 24 hours to prepare.
• ESD Mobilization: The Executive Security Detail (ESD) goes on High Alert.
• Bunker Down: The Mayor can hide in a safe house.
• Martial Law: The Mayor can authorize the Military Police to patrol the city to find the assassins.

📜 Section 3: The Hitman Contract System

How to hire a professional.

3.1. Valid Contractors (The Clients)

Only specific high-tier roles can Order a Hit:

• Political Party Leaders: To remove rivals.
• Gang/Family Bosses: To punish betrayal.
• Rule: The Client CANNOT be the shooter. They must pay someone else to keep their hands clean.

3.2. Valid Executors (The Hitmen)

• Who can do it? Only Tier 1 Gangs or Verified Hitmen (Whitelist Job) can accept a Mayoral Assassination contract.
• Families (Tier 2): Families are generally too weak to assassinate the Mayor (ESD is too strong), but they can try if they form a Coalition.

3.3. The Paper Trail

• Proof Required: You must have a screenshot of the 24-Hour Warning sent to the Mayor. If you kill the Mayor and cannot prove you warned him yesterday, you will be Banned for RDM.

💀 Section 4: Consequences of the Hit

High Risk, High Reward.

4.1. If the Mayor Dies

• Impeachment: The Mayor is removed from office (Character Kill / Resignation dependent on term rules).
• State of Emergency: The Government falls into chaos. A snap election is called.

4.2. If the Assassin Fails

• Caught: If the Assassin is caught by ESD/LSPD, they face Execution (CK) or Life in Prison (Supermax) for High Treason.
• Organization: The Family/Gang that ordered the hit is declared “Terrorist Organization” and will be raided by the Military Police and LSPD Joint Task Force.
